Should You Buy The Onewheel Pint X?

Well if you’re here then there’s one question on your mind:

Should you buy the Onewheel Pint X?

What to consider

Here are the factors you should consider:

Onewheel Pint X vs Onewheel Pint

When considering the Onewheel Pint X vs the Onewheel Pint the biggest considerations are the price and range.

My first Onewheel was the Pint, and I loved it and still ride it all the time.

That said, I do feel like it didn’t take me very long to outgrow the range and speed.

If it were me today buying my first Onewheel I’d be buying the Onewheel Pint X because the price is not much more and the range and speed are a lot more.

My grandpa bought me a nice guitar amplifier when I was a teenager and said something I like to live by.

He said “buy quality that lasts and you only have to buy once”.

I think the same applies here, if you know for sure that you’re gonna buy a Onewheel and love it, go for the Pint X.

If you aren’t sure if its for you or you’re not totally sold, the Pint is a better buy for sure.

All this said, even if you buy the Pint and love it, it holds value super well so you can sell your Pint here and use the proceeds to buy the next model.

Onewheel Pint X vs Onewheel GT

The Onewheel GT is a beast of a board, and it’s definitely not the board I would recommend to a first time buyer, truly I would recommend the Pint X.

I think the GT is a bigger, meatier and more aggressive board.

If you’re just getting into Onewheel riding, the Pint X has a very nice learning curve and will last you a long time.

And, if you decide you want a little something extra, you can always sell your Onewheel Pint X here and upgrade.

If you want a great entry level board that doesn’t restrict you, the Pint X is the right fit.

Price

All Onewheel’s are pricey, that’s just sort of the nature of the beast, though in a recent survey Future Motion hinted through a rider survey that a cheaper Onewheel model is something they’ve considered.

But I do find the price for the Pint X to be pretty reasonable.

The price of the Pint is awesome for sure, but I feel like you get so much more for an extra $350:

Higher top speed, MUCH better range and this board lets you go on group rides and hang with the big boys, much more so than a Pint can.

Range

The range is great. The GT gets a pretty crazy range, but I find that I have never exhausted the GT range in one single ride.

The 12-18 miles you get with the Pint X is probably perfect, if you’re doing a big long street ride I can see how you might do 10-15 miles in a single go, but off road I think this range is more than enough.

Value

The Onewheel Pint X holds its value incredibly well.

Check out the listings on my site here or on reddit, eBay or craigslist, they all tell the same story that the Pint X will hold value for a long time.

Is it worth it?

Yea for sure it is.

It’s no small price to pay I’ll tell you that.

Thankfully there are finance options if you want/need them.

But it’s 100% worth it, I ride my board as often as I possibly can and you probably know someone who swears by theirs, and that’s what brought you here.

If you can swallow the price, absolutely pull the trigger, I don’t think you’ll regret it.

And even if you find that it’s not for you, I’ll help you find a buyer for free.

Happy riding!
